Did you know YOU could have an Associate Degree and not know it?
Have you previously enrolled in college but did not receive a degree because of:

                                        ◊ Children
                                        ◊ Marriage
                                        ◊ Relocation
                                        ◊ Poor Grades
                                        ◊ Poor Study Habits
                                        ◊ Partying Too Much
                                        ◊ Military Active Duty
                                        ◊ Absences From Class
◊ Lack of Focus or Goal
                                        ◊ Wrong Choice of Major
◊ Illness or Death in Family
◊ Loss of Interest in School
                                        ◊ Discontinuation of Financial Aid
                                        ◊ Discontinuation of Major/Program
                                        ◊ Re-entry into Full-time Employment

Receiving an associate degree can be beneficial in several ways. First, it provides quick entry to the job market. Many employers seek individuals with an associate degree and the chances are greater they would hire the student with the associate degree. Some students seek an associate degree to obtain upward mobility or a salary increase in their current job.

If you have 30+ hours, you may be close to receiving a collegiate certificate degree or within one year of an associate degree!

According to the American Association of Community Colleges, the average expected lifetime earnings for a graduate with an associate degree are $1.6 million, about $.4 million more than a high school graduate.

The second program, "Attended College But No Degree", began in 1995 and was originally known as "Project Second Time Around". This program targets former students who have attended college but have not received a degree. The number of graduates in associate degree programs increased from 121 in 2001 to 178 in 2002 largely due to these programs.

Mrs. Montgomery has evaluated thousands of student transcripts since initiating these programs. "Attended College But No Degree" (ACBND) has assisted numerous students in returning to college and realizing their dream of earning a degree.
